South Congress Hotel
Just a mile from downtown, you will find this timeless wedding venue and hotel has it all, from indoor to outdoor space, nearby shops, and the most iconic music venues in town. This wedding venue is one of the most versatile in Austin, TX, since it has a neutral style with plenty of natural settings that are easily adaptable to any décor you prefer.
You will have access to 2,300 square feet of indoor space and 2,400 square feet of beautifully landscaped courtyards and gardens. Depending on your preferences, the outdoor space is ideal for your ceremony or cocktail hour. Some couples even host their reception outdoors to enjoy the fresh air. The outdoor space has festoon lights, and it is surrounded by greenery, so you have the perfect frame for your celebration.
Indoors, there is a timeless feel since many modern floor-to-ceiling windows allow plenty of natural light to come in. The walls are white with an exposed brick texture that easily adapt to a rustic, modern, or classic wedding style. If you prefer, you can host your ceremony indoors and have one of those beautiful walls as your backdrop. The best part is that this venue has accommodations so you and your loved ones can stay right there and avoid long drives from one place to another.
The Allan House
This amazing Victorian home built in 1883 and located in the heart of downtown Austin has plenty of details, architecturally speaking, and in terms of the many native Texas blossoms surrounding the property and century-old oak trees providing a unique feel for such an important celebration. This wedding venue is ideal for classic, romantic, rustic, and even boho weddings.
The idyllic outdoor space is magnificent, with plenty of shade from the oaks, open-air verandas, and many tent options to ensure your event happens, rain or shine. The white façade of this property has a classic feel, and as you enter the outdoor space, you feel like you are stepping out from the city. Outdoor, you can fit up to 225 guests, while if you prefer to use the indoor space, you can hold an intimate celebration with 65 seated guests.
Ranch Austin
Just 15 minutes away from downtown Austin you will find this magnificent wedding venue with over 10,000 square feet of outdoor patio entirely surrounded by large oaks wrapped in fairy lights. It is a venue ideal for rustic weddings, and you can enjoy both indoor and outdoor spaces. The venue even includes two large separate dressing rooms with private patios.
The banquet hall is available for up to 160 seated guests, with a rustic but elegant atmosphere, including white walls and ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, and amazing views of the natural outdoors. Your ceremony can happen outdoors in one of the many available spaces with plenty of natural landscapes surrounding you. For the dancing portion of your celebration, the covered stage, covered bar, and covered patio will allow you to enjoy with your loved ones underneath the light-up oaks.
The Line Austin
Are you looking to host a modern, sophisticated, and elegant wedding? This hidden gem will fit right into your plans. The Line Austin is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Austin and has a mid-century style all over its facilities from the ceremony, banquet, and even hotel. The views of this wedding venue overlook Town Lake and make it unique for your wedding videographer to capture many unique moments.
The Topaz Ballroom is perfect for hosting your ceremony at sunset, it has floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the lake, and you can celebrate with up to 300 guests. The Onyx Ballroom is available with its 6,000 square feet and capacity for up to 600 guests for your reception. Your wedding videographer will love the natural light that comes in from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The style has been influenced by mid-century style but can adapt to many other décor elements.
Barr Mansion
Acres of gardens surround three different settings within the same property that are available for you to host the wedding of your dreams. First, you have a Victorian Mansion built in 1898, with a classic look and historic feel. Then the 18th-century Artisan Ballroom that shipped piece by piece from New York and offered 40 foot tall glass walls. And finally, the Farmstead, which is an open-air pavilion.
The variety of spaces offered by Barr Mansion will suit any vision you have in mind, and your wedding videographer will agree that there is nothing more enchanting than lots of natural light and the Austin landscapes that surround this wedding venue. Your ceremony can be held outdoors with an ancient tree as your backdrop. And don’t worry about rain or space since this estate is so spacious you will find the perfect spot for your celebration.
